浦里酒造が「伝統と現代の融合（ニュークラシック）」を掲げて醸す『浦里 純米酒 生酛』。小川酵母の弱点であるアルコール耐性を生酛造りで克服し、超低温の吟醸仕込みで丁寧に発酵させた一本です。生酛由来の雑味がない非常にクリアな酒質でありながら、豊かな味の膨らみと立体的な酸味を獲得しています。口に含むと巨峰やメロンを思わせるフレッシュな果実香と濃厚な甘みが広がり、後味はスッとサッパリ引けていく絶妙なキレが魅力。冷酒では甘酸っぱく瑞々しい果汁感、お燗にすれば生酛らしいふくよかな旨味が開く、温度帯ごとの表情変化も楽しい至高の純米酒です。
